The SportShock 2 is an easy to adjust, low pressure gas volume compensator tri-tube shock absorber.
The ratio between rebound and compression is already optimized and the high and low speed movement settings are separate. The factory setting of the hydraulic knobs is positioned at mid-range, ie on the 13th click out of a total of 26. Each knob has a screwdriver recess in its center to facilitate adjustment if necessary.
This dual adjustment allows you to control both large-amplitude or high-speed movements like SportShock1 (comfort) and small-amplitude or low-speed movements (traction and stability).
Unlike an emulsion shock, the SportShock 2 helps maintain a constant quality suspension and good ground connection in all circumstances.
The height of the frame and the negative are adjusted with the spring preload by a nut / lock nut system.
The springs as well as the hydraulic characteristics are chosen by EMC according to the general state of load and the use indicated by the customer.
The shock absorber is delivered preset and ready to install.
