The GP3 is a high pressure gas twin-tube shock absorber with a cylinder.
It is adjustable in high speed rebound (1 wheel) and in high and low speed compression (2 wheels) over a wide range of use and provides more comfort and traction. Each setting is completely independent.
The factory setting of the hydraulic knobs is positioned at mid-range, ie on the 13th click out of a total of 26. Each knob has a screwdriver recess in its center to facilitate adjustment if necessary.
The height of the frame and the negative are adjusted with the spring preload by a nut / lock nut system.
The springs as well as the hydraulic characteristics are chosen by EMC according to the general state of load and the use indicated by the customer.
The shock absorber is delivered pre-adjusted and ready to install.
The GP3 is intended for trail, cross, rally-raid use.
Hydraulic preload option
This option replaces the traditional method of spring setting by a hydraulic system. A thumb setting wheel taken up on the frame, or in certain cases directly on the shock absorber, the control the prestressed of the spring. This way of setting is very useful on a motorcycle of tourism to pass of a state of load in an other one as well as in competition to save time of development during the tries and in race during pitstops.
